Spring

Higher cut grass in February/March
- so long as its' mild enough |

Time to lay in new turf or sow a
new lawn |

By April apply a combined a Lawn
Weed and Feed (and Mosskiller - if needed) |

Cut once a week as the grass starts
really growing |
Summer
 |
Mow twice weekly for a fine
lawn |

If its getting hot and dry, then
cut back to mowing once a week, or even less |

If turfing, make sure the roots are
well moistened |
Autumn
 |
New lawns can be sown in
September |
 |
Scarifying and aerating (spiking)
can be done in October |
 |
Autumn lawn feed (don't use spring
feed if you have it left over, as its nutrient base is wrong for this time of year) |
 |
Lay in turf |
Winter
 |
If you're located in a frost prone
area, keep off the grass when its frosted |
 |
Mowing can still take place in
warmer regions |
